SR. QUANTITY SURVEYORS

QUALIFICATIONS: B. Sc. inQuantity Surveying / MRICS. Minimum of ten (10) years working exp. inall facets of Quantity Survey, all of which shall have been in thecapacity of a Chartered Quantity Survey working in a professionalconsultancy practice. Additional courses/post graduate degrees in areaof concerns will be considered a plus. Extensive knowledge andexperience in Procurement Methods for consulting and construction as well as international contracting conditions and laws.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish andoperate cost and financial control systems. Preparation of cost Plans.Prepare and present cash flow and cost management advice. Participatein tender evaluation and assessment. Preparation of valuation ofprogress and nal payments for any contract. Prepare early stage budgetsand detailed cost plans.

QUANTITY SURVEYORS

QUALIFICATIONS: B.Sc. inQuantity Surveying, minimum of 10 years experience in all facets ofQuantity Surveying. Worked in a Professional Consultancy Firm, withknowledge in Procurement Methods for Consultancy and constructionscontracts. Preferably with three years experience in the Gulf Region.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare allnecessary calculations and other technical Q.S. works. Coordinate withGIS and government authorities to obtain information. Budgetdevelopment and cash flows. Cost Control and reporting. Projectaccounting, Contracts administration, Contract dispute analysis andresolution assessment. Measuring assessing and valuing variations,preparation of valuation of progress and payments.

PLANNING / COST ENGINEERS

QUALIFICATIONS: BSc. InArchitecture or Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Minimumof ten years in planning and scheduling works ( Project planning,Budgeting, Cost Phasing and Control from the project initiation toclose out phases). Proficient in Management Software : Primavera ver.3.1 (P3), and Expedition, M.S Office and AutoCAD.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop andmaintain planning and cost reporting to lead engineer (s) andsupervisor (s) within the Technical Services Department. Preparationand review of project master plan. Prepare status Update for corporatePlanning. Participate in the Preparation of planning, reporting andcontrol requirements within Tender Documents. Review and assesscontractor's invoices and verify progress.|

PROJECT MANAGERS (Design)

QUALIFICATIONS: BSc. in CivilEngineering with 15 years work experience in Structural Design(concrete and steel). Familiar with design software, such as STAAD Pro,Etabs, SAP, etc. with knowledge in AutoCAD Drafting.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparedetailed structural design drawings for large scale and prestigiousprojects such as Towers and High Rise Buildings, Malls and ShoppingCentres, Hospitals, Sports complex and other steel & concretestructures.

ARCHITECTURAL / LANDSCAPE DESIGNERS

QUALIFICATIONS: BSc. inArchitecture/landscape from a recognized college or university. Minimum10 years experience in conceptual design works & detailedarchitectural/landscape designs, with knowledge in AutoCAD drafting& other related software’s. (3D Studio viz, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) Excellent in free hand sketches.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Developdesigns, prepare all necessary standards, details and other technicaldata for implementation of design. Coordinate with the Project DesignManager for the implementation of design work. Execute work within thedepartment's objectives.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS (Design)

3) Fluent in English in both writing and speaking.

4) Has high capability in technical writing communication skills and coordination with all level of staff.

5) Knowledge of construction techniques and modern construction.

6) Gulf experience and previous experience in large scale projects will be an added advantage.

7) Computer literacy in MS office is essential and fully conversantwith Project Management software (i.e. Primavera and MS Projects) willbe

advantage.

8) To be fully aware and conversant of the Contact, SpecificationsDrawings Standards Codes local regulations and company work instruction.

Position: Senior Site Engineer

Qualification & Experience:

1) Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a recognized college.

2) Minimum 8-10 years working experience.

3) Good communication skills in English and Arabic and able to coordinate with all level of staff.

4) Computer literacy (MS Office) is essential.

5) Good engineering background to review and correct materials submittals and design drawings.

6) Good engineering knowledge with construction techniques.

7) To ensure that all requirements for design input variations changes and other information are implemented.

8) To ensure that all the submittals and shop drawings is performed inaccordance contract requirements and to report its progress to theProject Manager.

Position: Site Engineer (Or Inspector)

Qualifications & Experience:

1) Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a recognized college.

2) Minimum 3-5 years working experience.

3) Good communication skills in English and Arabic and able to coordinate with all level of staff and labors.

4) To ensure that the documentation generated by the inspections tests and surveys meet the requirements of this plan.

5) To assist the senior engineers to inspect the permanent worksincluding delivered materials in order to verify conformance with thecontract quality

requirement including testing and commissioning.

6) To set out the various components of works.

7) To performed day to day quality control for construction activities and maintain records.

8) To follow up construction activities and report any defects.

Position: Safety Engineer

Qualifications & Experience:

1) Bachelor Degree in recognized college.

2) Minimum 5-10 years working experience.

3) Good communication skills in English and Arabic and able to coordinate with all levels including labors.

4) Knowledge of Safety codes is essential (i.e. OSHA & Government Regulations)

5) To force the contractor’s construction sections to build the works safely.

6) To assist all the members of the project management team to work safely.

7) To provide project personnel with safety instruction and other training as necessary.

8) To issue safety surveillance reports to the Project Managerincluding recommendations for corrective or preventive action whereappropriate.

9) To see that all the works are done as per authority rules and regulation for health, safety and environmental issues.

10) To issue or review hazard analysis forms for method statements.

11) To review and initially approve safety plans.

12) To issue immediate action orders for any hazard works.

ALAH yehdikoum 15 et 10 ans d'expériences vous ne pensez pas que c'est trop pour les ingénieurs et les architectes,monsieur nous sommes desjeunes qui ont comencés maintenant leurs vie proffessionel et vs dites 10 ans (dans cette période j'aurais ma propre petite entreprise et j'aurais 40 ans avec une femme et des graçons )soyez resonnable un peux

je me demandes seulement combien d'années d'expériences pour les autres pays (amerique ,france ,bretagne)?

je pense que monsieur sassi a raison, moi ds 3ans j'aurrais mon propre BET et ds 5ans j'aurais un plan de charge important et ds 10ans je forme d'autre jeune architecte, comment un jeune architecte commencera un job si tt le monde parle de 10ans d'expérience , je pense surrement qu'il y a un astusse pour ce sujet.

autre chose , ici les pays maghreben notre formation est en français et eux c en anglais je pense c défficile ce changement n'est ce pas? meme le programme de leur formation n'est pas comme nous ici on base que sur le poteau poutre mais eux ils ont la structure métalique et le béton précontrainte

vous exigez une liste de chose (ce qui est votre droit) mais en contre partie vous ne proposez rien

je suis d'accord avec les différents post

M Sofiane, je comprend votre colère mais les gifles (figurément parlant) ne résolvent rien)

merci à l'auteur de préciser combien de salaire

par exemple si je postule (ce qui n'est pas le cas j'ai déjà mes propres BE)

combien vous seriez prêt à donner j'ai 29 d'expérience et un doctorat en ingénierie des structures

je pense qu'il faut laisser leur chance aux "jeune" qui ne demandent pas mieux que d'apprendre et de partager leur connaissances

Bonsoir Mr astrian oui je suis vraiment très énerver car on dirai que ses personnes sont née avec une expérience c'est incroyable en plus comme vous le dite si bien ils exigent une tonne de choses sans rien proposer même a ce qui ont de l'expériences et exclu 95 % nous les pauvres jeunes tout droit sortie de la faculté mais a qui en demande 5 ans d’expérience ou comme la des choses que eux même ne savent pas faire  sur ce salutation Mr astrian
